However, I see a number of area where vendors are actively promoting lockin to capture unearned profits and control their partners. Lockin isn't bad as long customers understand what they are getting. Complexity bind users to a vendor and drives extended sales cycles that benefit incumbent vendors. Single supplier agreements prevent customers from adopting . . .
